Volunteer Car Drivers
Do you have a morning or afternoon free? Why not become one of our volunteer car drivers? Our volunteer car drivers use their own car and help older people and disabled people to get out and about by taking them to medical appointments including hospital, doctors, dentist etc. We even take people to social places like clubs, meetings, visiting friends or shopping and the hairdressers. We urgently need volunteers to meet the needs of the people within the community so if you could help people with any of the above do not hesitate to call us.
You will be part of a committed and dedicated team of drivers who work together to provide this much needed and valuable service to local people.
Female and male drivers who are over 25 are required. We would be happy to chat to any prospective volunteers about this role. A petrol allowance is given in accordance with the HMRC.
Must have use of own car.
Must be over 25.
Must have a clean driving licence.
Fully comprehensive car insurance.

Volunteer Mobility Car Drivers
If you would rather not use your own car why not become one of our volunteer mobility car drivers and help older people and disabled people to get out and about by taking them to medical appointments including hospital, doctors, dentist etc. We even take people to social places like clubs, meetings, visiting friends or shopping and the hairdressers in our mobility vehicles. These vehicles are predominately used for transporting wheelchair users as they are fully equipped with a winch to safely transport people who are unable to transfer to a seat. Full training is given in the use of these vehicles.
We urgently need volunteers to meet the needs of the people within the community so if you could help people with any of the above do not hesitate to call us.
You will be part of a committed and dedicated team of drivers who work together to provide this much needed and valuable service to local people.
Female and male drivers who are over 25 are required. We would be happy to chat to any prospective volunteers about this role and take you out on one of our Mobility Cars to give you a taster of this opportunity.
Knowledge of Castle Point area would be an advantage.

Volunteer Minibus Drivers
If you would rather not use your own car why not become one of our volunteer minibus drivers and help older people and disabled people to get out and about to clubs, groups, shopping and social trips.
All minibuses are equipped with tail lifts and are wheelchair accessible so that we can transport many people with many needs. (full training is given).
We urgently need volunteers to meet the needs of the people within the community so if you could help people with any of the above do not hesitate to call us.
You will be part of a committed and dedicated team of drivers who work together to provide this much needed and valuable service to local people.
Female and male drivers who are over 25 are required. We would be happy to chat to any prospective volunteers about this role and take you out on one of our Minibuses to give you a taster of this opportunity.
Knowledge of Castle Point area would be an advantage.
Full training, including MiDAS qualification (which is a Nationally recognised qualification), will be given for Minibus Drivers.
D1 classification is required on Driving Licence.
