We have also extended our use of the minibuses to offer transport to and from local places of interest. We visit theatres, Garden Centres, Shopping Centres and many more places in Essex, Suffolk or Kent. You can find a list of our trips by clicking on the \u2018upcoming trips\u2019 tab.<\/p>\n

The trips are open to all older people over the age of 60 or disabled within Hadleigh, Thundersley, Benfleet and Canvey Island area. There is a an annual fee for membership to our \u2018Associate\u2019 membership scheme of \u00a35.<\/p>\n

This however, does not include use of the volunteer cars which fall under the \u2018Full Car Scheme Membership\u2019. (To use the volunteer cars an annual membership fee will apply).<\/p>\n

In December 2018 we took receipt of a brand new minibus, this allowed us to \u2018retire\u2019 one of the older buses in the fleet.<\/p>\n

All of our mini-buses are fully equipped with a tail lift and low steps with hand rails to allow people to get out and about socially. All our minibuses are able to transport wheelchair users. (Please note that an additional person would need to accompany a wheelchair user).<\/em><\/p>\n
